1. The procedure starts with a complete check-up of the teeth. Defect teeth need to be treated before commencing the whitening procedure. Open cavities are filled with temporary filling material prior to the whitening session. The final and permanent fillings or restaurations will subsequently be done in the new and improved, lightened colour.
2. We determine the pre-op shade of your teeth together.
3. An intense scaling and polishing session is needed in order to eliminate plaque and tartar stains and other irregularities from the teeth.
4. Your hygienist applies the gel directly onto the teeth. The automatically activated "aqua dam" avoids contact between the hydrogen peroxide and the gums.
5. Over a period of 20 minures, the whitening tip evenly lightens each tooth.
6. The gel is removed and the procedure is repeated twice.
