If you have already been wearing a full denture for an extended period, your jaw bone may be too thin and too narrow to accept implants. In this case your dentist or a surgeon specializing in implants can carefully build up the jaw. This is done with bone from your body or with natural replacement materials. The day-surgery procedure can now be done atraumatically and is quickly forgotten. The improved quality of life is permanent.
